Para ello, he centrado la atención en los cambios de denominación de calles y en la vinculación directa que se establece entre el hecho histórico y sus protagonistas en cada momento. After explaining the main political myths about the Civil War and the repression, we will analyze the repression in teachers and we will finish with the investigations and data of the repression in teachers in the province of Zamora which will prove the reality of these historical facts, in front of the political purposes of those myths, and therefore, of the memory based on them, instead of the criticism and weakness of this memory during last years.Įn este trabajo se plantea la importancia de estudiar el proceso histórico desarrollado entre 1931 y 1939 y su impacto en el viario urbano de la ciudad tinerfeña de La Laguna (ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad desde 1999). Those myths that have been built in the past are kept up and have arrived to the present. In turn, these political myths are based on unfounded rumors (fear and justification) that have become known before (Second Republic), during (Civil War) and after (Fran-co´s dictatorship and the Transition to Democracy) this period.

The memory of the repression in teachers, during Franco´s dictatorship, is settled on series of myths that have arrived to our days. Tras explicar los mitos políticos más conocidos sobre la Guerra civil y la represión, analizamos los referidos a la represión de los docentes y finalizamos con las investigaciones y los datos de la represión y depuración del magisterio zamorano, que nos demuestran la realidad de los hechos históricos ante la intencionalidad política de esos mitos y, por tanto, de la memoria que se sustenta en los mismos, a pesar de la crítica y debilitamiento de esa memoria en los últimos años. A su vez, estos mitos políticos se basan en unos bulos (miedo y justificación) difundidos antes (II República), durante (Guerra civil), después (Dictadura franquista y Transición), e incluso alcanzan el momento actual. La memoria de la represión franquista de los docentes se asienta sobre una serie de mitos que llegan hasta nuestros días.
